Digest Types

Choose between a narrative briefing and a structured dataset.

Digests are the delivery layer in Cortex. They take the content your feeds have kept and turn it into an output that a person, coding agent, or other system can actually use.

Both digest types use the same core digest object, but they produce different output shapes. Use briefing when you want a recurring narrative update, and use dataset when you want a structured table.
